2012 AUSTRALIA DAY RUN #1 - 108 MAKE IT IN ROUGH WATER
Yes, the record breaking run looks easy! It was compaired to the day before! Check out the effort needed to ski through rolling surf (not quite white-capped) with only 55cms of space! Total concentration was needed - Brad couldn't even turn his head long enough to get a shot of the other skiiers. You can see each bone-jarring thud in each jerk of the camera. The ropes in the water are from the other skiers who had already come off. The only reason 108 made it was because the Eagle's new props got everyone up on top of the water a full minute faster then in 2010. We were hoping for another run on Australia Day but the storm front didn't move through in time. However, run #2 the next day had perfect conditions! : )
